Hey there!

Glad to see you made it here okay! It's so nice to meet you and I can hardly wait to meet you face to face!

Gary & I (Mary) keep 2 acres of fresh vegetables growing for almost 3 full seasons. We also grow apples, peaches, pears, figs, raspberries, blackberries, cackleberries and shiitake mushrooms

Throughout the year, if there is enough interest, we will offer workshops so you can have hands-on experience in shiitake mushroom inoculation, making herbal salves & tinctures, making hominy, and other exciting farm ventures, and we just love it when the children get involved in these projects!

We need to encourage our youngsters to learn where their food really comes from and they have so much fun learning about how vegetables grow.

We grow our veggies and fruits naturally and use integrated pest management. Almost all of our vegetable seed is heirloom and open pollinated.

If you sign up on the Member page you will receive our fresh from the farm newsletter.

If you want a share in the 2010 CSA membership then look on the CSA pages for more information and don't forget to visit our blog to see what's fresh at the farm.

CSA Member pick ups will be held May 6, 2010 until mid-October on Thursdays from 10AM until 6PM. We will have your share ready when you arrive.

Business hours for U-pick customers are Fridays and Sundays 10AM to 6PM. I don't pick the vegetables and store them. When you arrive we pick what's available so it's always fresh for you!

Just toot your horn when you pull in cause I may be in the garden!

We have a small engine mechanic available daily by appointment or by chance to repair your lawnmowers, weedeaters, leafblowers, edgers, chainsaws, 4-wheelers, small tractors and whatever else you have around that isn't working right for you. Just bring them and drop them off and he will get them repaired ASAP if they are repairable.

We look forward to meeting new neighbors! Building community is important!

So is growing and eating fresh food!
